Sub:     Insult of Indian culture and
            molestation of Buddhism in the
            movie "Ajintha"
Ref:     Our letter dated 08-05-12

Dear Sir/Madam,

Namo Buddhay! Jaibhim!

Vide our above referred letter this organisation had informed you about the Insult of Buddhism in the movie 'Ajintha' and thereby wounding the sentiments of Indians as well as Buddhist mass. We had brought to your notice about the attack on Indian/Buddhist culture but you had gravely neglected the representation and went ahead with granting clearance certificate to the movie. This proves your office's ill motives and leads to doubt of bribes to CBFC officials. Granting clearance to such obnoxious movie makes you liable to punishments under IPC 295A, 298 and others.

As the movie is granted clearance from your office on 10-05-12, it is watched by representatives of our organisation on 11-05-12 in the 'Metro' theatre at 1 PM, we found following serious objectionable points in it,

1.             Poster of movie, displayed everywhere show dancing women in the cave. This is objectionable because Buddhist cave are the auspicious places of prayer and meditation and not the dancing. Tt is ill motive of the producer to depict the auspicious Buddhist cave as a place of dance.

2.             Buddha is stated as an incarnation of god, similar to Ram, Jesus, etc. You should take serious note that Government of India had published that Buddha is not the incarnation of any god or superstitious superpower, especially in the books written by Dr Ambedkar. These writing and speeches and books are also published by Government of Maharashtra.

3.             Offensive erotic love scenes are shown right inside the auspicious cave, and in front of Buddha Statue.

4.             At one place the colors of holy are shown spread inside the cave and also on the body of heroine. Both the items are highly objectionable becuase Holy was never played inside the buddhist  cave  Therefore the producer had insulted the graceful culture of India.

5.             Buddhists abhor the festival of holy and it was never the festival of Buddhists. This scene is intentionally created to hurt the sentiments of Buddhists.

6.             A hindu/brahminical marrige of 'Saptapadi' is shown inside the cave. Buddhist caves were never the places of marriages and showing hindu marriage of Saptapadi is molestation of Buddhim.

7.             At one place, it is stated by the dialogue of brahmin-role that Gill has to spread the Buddhism all over world. This is grave insult to the Nation of India, because Buddhism was already spread in the world prior to dates of story of the movie i.e. prior to 1800 CE.

8.             Contents of last song say that 'sorrow' is outcome of Buddhism. This is attack on Buddhism.

9.             Climex of movie is picturized as if to propagate that the work for Buddhism leads to sorrow. This is highly obnoxious.

10.         Showing the Head of Banjara community as rapist, is abuse to the Indian aboriginal community. This is Manuvadi/Brahmin/RSS conspiracy to malign the image of Indians.

Therefore this movie is an offensive piece in totality. We earnestly request you to take serious note of above offensive points and cancel the certificate of movie, as it is not only hurting the sentiments of Buddhists but destroying the graceful Culture of India. Failing to this you are liable to punishment under above referred section of IPC.
Thanking you,
In the service of Nation and Humanity,

Nagarya Siri Vikaso Lakhano
